as part of Citigroup global technology and operation organization (Citibank China is another Citigroup owned subsidiary in China). It is founded by Citigroup since 2002. It is one of the biggest IT software companies in China

providing both finance IT service and operation services to Citi’s core banking business globally. CSTC ICG Technology department mainly supports MSS (Markets and Securities Services) of ICG

which is one of the key businesses of investment bank industry globally. Global Custody Technology serves Citi ICG Custody business

which is a very profitable and stable business over 60+ global markets. Its WinTel team provides professional front-end solutions to all custody applications. Job Responsibilities In the Global Custody Technology organization be part of a team of QA testers and test automation specialists

supporting SIT and in conjunction with business partners support UAT  We are looking for tester who are interested in structured testing and like to test on IBM mainframe batch and UI systems and Wintel based applications.  The team will create and perform QA

Regression

Testing Automation and Partner testing across IBM mainframe and MS Wintel environments for the Custody Business.  As a QA Tester you be expected to plan testing activities such as: the design and execution of test scripts in ICG JIRA

maintenance of existing scripts

produce regular testing progress / defect reports

proactively manage any defects encountered and perform other environmental checks as and when required. The quality of your work is expected to be consistently high

meeting all technology and business requirements / standards.  You should be prepared to share your skills and knowledge with your other team members.  This is a challenging role in a fast growing environment where the candidate will be required to deliver plan and execute tests against a complex system set that is deployed globally across Citi and in continuous use across global markets.  The role will allow the candidate to develop their business and technical skills and in addition gain exposure to an application

which is at the forefront of business and technical change in MSST Custody Services.  This team will work in partnership with other centres in London

Belfast

Brazil and Tampa on multi-year programs driven by regulatory and market reform

product development and business and operational efficiency. Computer Engineering

Mathematics or related majors  With Financial knowledge or background is a plus Required Technical Skills  Track record in QA or UAT testing on IBM mainframes and Windows based applications  Knowledge of complex platform testing

including testing messaging systems and applications with complex interfaces  Knowledge of testing in waterfall and agile development techniques  Recent experience of ICG JIRA

Quick Test Pro or Selenium is plus  Excellent written and verbal communication  Formal Testing qualifications (such as ITIL) are an advantage  Performance Testing experience is plus. Required Non-Technical Skills  Strong motivation skills.  Ability to communicate with non-technical people.  Excellent communication skill and interpersonal skill  Strong communication and influencing skill  Proficient in both spoken and written English  Work under pressure

manage conflicts and challenges.  Must demonstrate analytical thinking and problem solving skills Optional Non-Technical Skills  Have a sound macro view of the working of Global financial markets  Have a fundamental understanding of the workings of financial institutions
